CAMBRIDGE ADVANCED (AS LEVEL)

GRADE 12

  • Students may continue with any subject taken in IGCSE provided a minimum of a ‘C’ is achieved in the examination.

  • Only languages (or subjects) which are not offered in November can be written in June
  • Minimum 4 IGCSE subjects on Extended

  • 3 Cs minimum  to go through BUT must add Global Perspectives to make up the 4 minimum 

  • If students do not achieve the minimum they repeat Gr. 11 (no repeats for external candidates)

  • C ‘average’ (4 Cs) for external candidates to go into Gr. 12 to write AS

  • Candidates coming into Gr. 12 cannot write AS English
