Marketing Assistant

St George’s Diocesan School, a Cambridge International School, is seeking a well-qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic person for this vacancy.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
-
2–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or school environment
-
Social media management and content creation
-
Experience in marketing strategy support, reporting, and data handling
-
Basic graphic design, photography, and video editing
-
Proficiency in iOS Apple Technology, Google Workspace, Canva, digital and AI marketing tools

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications:
-
Assist in implementing the school’s marketing strategy
-
Support advertising, content creation, and media liaison
-
Conduct market research and assist with reporting
Digital & Social Media:
-
Manage and update social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
-
Create engaging content (visuals, videos, copy)
-
Monitor engagement and compile analytics reports
-
Assist with website updates
Admissions & Public Relations:
-
Support prospective parent engagement and school visits
-
Assist with recruitment and enrolment initiatives
Event Coordination:
-
Assist in planning and executing school events
-
Coordinate logistics, suppliers, and event communication
-
Support photography and media coverage
Alumni & Community Engagement:
-
Support alumni database management and communication
-
Assist with events, reunions, and engagement initiatives
Internal and External Communication:
-
Support staff communications and newsletters
-
Collaborate with departments to gather content
-
Assist with school communications and correspondence
