Thank you for your interest in working at St George's Diocesan School. St George's enjoys an excellent reputation for being a family orientated school, with a nurturing environment and a wonderful group of teachers and non-teaching staff and great parents.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • An ordained Anglican Church Priest 

  • A Masters Degree would be an advantage 

  • Teaching qualifications would be an advantage

  • Personal attributes of energy, integrity, vision and experience

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills; and

  • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse community of students, teachers and parents.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate would be required to:

  • Share the Christian ethos and values upheld by the School

  • Provide for the spiritual and pastoral needs of the students at St George's and the broader St George’s family

  • Have appropriate counselling experience

  • Assist in and support the School’s outreach programmes

  • Conduct weekly, quarterly and annual Chapel services

  • Have experience in Christian youth work

  • Be willing to work after hours in order to fulfil the requirements of the position

  • Participating in the broader life of St George's Diocesan School
