Rise and Rose Wellness Retreat

On 26 March 2025, the Rise and Rose Foundation hosted a memorable wellness retreat at the college. The event was filled with fun, learning, and personal growth, bringing excitement and inspiration to all students who attended.

How Did the Speeches Impact Students?

The event began with powerful motivational speeches that created an engaging atmosphere and ignited the belief that goals are not only achievable but within reach. The speakers, sharing their real-life experiences, encouraged students to embrace challenges with an open mind and view them as opportunities for growth. A few of the guides also prayed with the students, adding a spiritual element to the retreat.

Cultural Exposure Through Dance

A highlight of the wellness retreat was the dance sessions, which students found amusing. As they participated in Zumba to various traditional music styles, the activity exposed them to different cultural expressions, allowing them to broaden their knowledge.

Engaging Games and Prizes

In addition to dancing, attendees took part in several games that were both physically engaging and mentally stimulating. With prizes awarded to winners, these activities made the experience even more exciting and memorable.

Why Is Mental Well-being Important?

Overall, the wellness retreat organised by the Rise and Rose Foundation taught our students the value of mental well-being. The power of the speakers’ words shifted the students’ mindsets positively. Maintaining mental health is essential, as it enables learners to thrive both academically and emotionally, fostering a balanced and resilient approach to their personal and academic lives.
