On Saturday, 20 September 2025, students from St George’s Diocesan School Windhoek, alongside Rotarians from RC KWV, Rotaractors Windhoek, and SXG Distributors, joined forces to support the Smiley National Charity House initiative with a clean-up in Otjomuise.
Among the St George’s participants was Miss Teen Namibia 2025, Chantel Boeren, a Grade 10 student at our school, who partnered with the Windhoek Rotaract Club for the day. Together, this dynamic group of volunteers not only cleared litter but also raised awareness about the importance of caring for the environment. Their efforts inspired the Otjomuise 7de Laan community to take pride in their surroundings and keep public spaces clean and welcoming.
This meaningful initiative is part of a St George’s Round Square Service Project, reinforcing our commitment to service, responsibility, and making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
